Shelby J. Vaughn

Shelby J. Vaughn, age 71, of Mansfield , Ohio and most recently of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 9:10am at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

Shelby was born on November 6, 1940 in Barberton, Ohio to Otha Jack Vaughn, who is deceased, and Virginia (Moser) Vaughn who survives in Upper Sandusky.

Shelby is also survived by three brothers, Charles (Elizabeth) Vaughn of Delaware, Ohio, Clayton Thomas (Janet) Vaughn of Florida, and Daniel (Lisa) Vaughn of Washington Court House, Ohio, and two sisters, Joan Speece of Port Orchard, Washington, and Kathleen Kramer of Upper Sandusky.


For hobbies Shelby enjoyed crocheting and cross stitch, puzzles, playing the organ. and she was an animal lover.

Shelby had a servant's heart to help others and it was evident by her volunteering at and nursing homes.

Funeral services for Shelby J. Vaughn will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. Burial will follow at the Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
