Sharon K. Troiano, age 58, of rural Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 6:55pm at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born December 9, 1951 in Galion, Ohio to the late David O. and Mae Belle (Baldwin) Herndon.
Surviving are two sons; Timothy S. Kleffman and Jason (Jennifer) Heilman both of Upper Sandusky, two grandsons; Justin and Joshua Heilman, a sister; Mary Dauchenbaugh of Galion and her fiancAC., John Disheaux of Defiance.
Preceding her in death are three brothers; David, Dale, and Jerry Herndon and a sister, Connie Evans.
She worked at Westinghouse/A.O. Smith in Upper Sandusky for 32 years and was currently a sales associate at Wal-Mart in Upper Sandusky.
Sharon loved being outdoors. Give her the sun and a pool and she was happy. She was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Jeff Gordon. Her greatest joy was playing with her grandsons.
Visitation will be from 1 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. The funeral service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Bethel Cemetery near McCutchenville, OH.
Memorial contributions may be given to the James Cancer Research Center at The Ohio State University in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
