Sharon L. Raypole

Sharon L. Raypole, age 68, of Sycamore, Ohio died Monday, February 18, 2008 at 4:58p.m. at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio.

Sharon was born on December 4, 1939 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Gerald and Virginia (Kotterman) Ekleberry both of whom are living in Bucyrus. She graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1957.

Surviving are a son, Jerald and his wife Angela, Raypole of Sycamore, Ohio and 3 daughters, Cindi and her husband Glenn, Welsh of Nevada, Cathy and her husband Tim, Miller of Tiro, Ohio, and Zendra Raypole of Sycamore, Ohio. Sharon also had 12 Grandchildren, Josh Welsh, Dustin Welsh, Kerri Vaughn, Michelle Welsh, Bonnie Welsh, Christy Pine, Misty Gordon, David Bauer, Kimberley Covey, Emily Raypole, Austin Raypole, and Jerad Raypole. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren along with 2 Brothers: Gary and his wife Alice, Ekleberry of Bucyrus, Ohio and Lary and his wife Marie, Ekleberry of Nevada.

Sharon attended Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, and before that she was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Bucyrus. She was a long time member of Pythian Sisters in Nevada, and was a former Girl Scout leader and 4H Advisor. For hobbies Sharon enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and quilting.

Funeral Services for Sharon L. Raypole will be held at 11:00am Friday, February 22, 2008 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. The
Rev. David Roach and Chad Guined will be officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be Thursday, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Lucas-Batton Funeral home in Upper Sandusky. Memorial contributions may be to Trinity Evangelcial UMC, or Diabetes Association or Crawford County 4H Endowment Fund and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave., Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
