Sharon E. Brooks, age 62, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at home in her sleep, unexpectedly, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
Sharon was born on May 9, 1963, to William J. Sr., and Louise E. (Tong) Kline, and they survive in Upper Sandusky. Sharon was once married to Dave Brooks, and she is survived by her life partner Ronnie Martin of Upper Sandusky.
Sharon is also survived by her children: Bailey (Ben) Brooks-Turner, of Delaware, Tyler (Tasha) Martin of Hanover, Miranda Martin of Mt. Perry, Haley Martin of Delaware, and 6 grandchildren: Jack Turner, Wyatt, Westin, Brady, Kassen, and Bennette Martin. Sharon is also survived by her siblings, Tom (Beth) Kline, Jeremy (Tiffany) Kline, Charles (Andrea) Zechiel, all of Upper Sandusky, and Heather Stapley of Carey, and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by brother, William J. Kline Jr., two sisters, Brenda Tebbe, and Rita Zechiel.
Sharon graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1981 and went on to attend Bliss Business College in Columbus until 1983. Sharon went on to manage Domino's Pizza in Upper Sandusky, helped start Dipper's and Dogs also in Upper Sandusky, and currently she was a district manager for Penn Station. Sharon loved her work, she especially enjoyed training new employees. She was a determined, hardworking "Boss Lady" who loved people, Sharon never met a stranger.
Sharon enjoyed traveling, especially taking weekend excursions on a whim. She enjoyed spending many weekends at Teepee Family Campground where she was the life of the party. Sharon enjoyed going bowling, loved margaritas, and she loved her dogs, especially Ryder, who accompanied Sharon wherever she went. Sharon loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
A visitation for Sharon Brooks will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
