Sharon Fayth Clinger, age 51, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 6:45am at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo Ohio.

Sharon was born on August 23, 1958 in Shelby, Ohio to Harvie E. and Jaunita F. (Shearer) Bowling, both of whom are deceased. She was once married to Bruce Clinger

Sharon is survived by five children, Rachel (J.J.) Taylor of Bucyrus, Ohio, Spc. Michael Clinger of Upper Sandusky, Mark Clinger of Upper Sandusky, Ruth Anna (Michael) Paul of Upper Sandusky, and Natalie Clinger of Bucyrus. Five grandchildren, Noah Taylor, Jasmine Taylor, Andrew Clinger, Nicole Taylor, Brittany Taylor, and a great grandchild, Bradyn Taylor.

Sharon is also survived by two sisters, Helen Barker of Bucyrus, and Kitty Bowling of Hampton, Virginia.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Edward Bowling.

She graduated from Carey High School in the class of 1976. She went on to Cumberland College where she majored in music. She worked at Walmart in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Sharon attended the Salvation Army Church in Tiffin, Ohio. She was active with TGMS Gospel Music Promotions, Voice of Hope Pregnancy Center in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Red Cross where she volunteered and served as an instructor, and Right to Life.

Music was one of Sharon's love and was also willing to help others, whether in music or just anyone who was in need. For hobbies she enjoyed reading, word puzzles, and jigsaw puzzles.

Funeral services for Sharon Clinger will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio with the Rev. Bill Williamson officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Old Mission cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 5pm - 8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sharon Clinger Memorial Fund in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
