Sharon K. Blair - Heistand

Sharon Kay Heistand, 61, of Westerville, OH passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband and children at 5:26 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Westerville.

Sharon was born on August 24, 1956 in Jackson, OH to the late Walker and Pauline (Fisher) Blair. On January 27, 1979 Sharon married the love of her life, Larry Heistand and he survives. Survivors include 2 children: David (Brandy) Heistand, Pickerington, OH; Andrea (Mitch) Camp, Pickerington, OH; 5 grandchildren: Mason Heistand, Morgan Heistand, Madelyn Camp, Eli Camp, Katelyn Camp; 9 siblings: Joyce (Paul) Musgrave, Forest, OH; Bob (Kathy) Blair, Somerset, KY; Janet (Allan) Frazier, Carey, OH; Ruth Graham, Reynoldsburg, OH; Donald (Patty) Blair, Carey, OH; Theresa Crace, Findlay, OH; Larry (Denise) Blair, Vanlue, OH; Bev (Mike) Burke, Findlay, OH; and Sue (Kurt) Heminger, Findlay, OH; 4 sister-in-laws: Mary Striebeck, Lubbuck Texas, Cheryl Heistand, Bucyrus, OH, Ann (Jim) Baker, Plano, Texas, Theresa Villasana, Bucyrus, OH. Sharon was a Registered Nurse, BSN, CCN from 1984 until 2014. She worked in many areas of nursing, including, prior to retirement, her last nursing position as a case manager of the Columbus Police department with Careworks in Columbus, OH. She enjoyed cooking, baking, making candy at Christmas for family and friends. Sharon was deeply devoted to her husband and family. She enjoyed spoiling her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her. A Memorial Service Celebrating the Life of Sharon Kay Heistand will be held at 1:00pm, February 17, 2018 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, OH.

Visitations will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday before service time at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kobacker House Hospice and American Cancer Society in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky St., Upper Sandusky 43351.
