Sandra Lee Walter

Sandra Lee Walter, age 71, of rural Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from a farming accident.

Sandra was born in Blissfield, Michigan on June 9, 1942 to Lucille M. (Pipelow) Smith. She was first married to Frederick G. Barba, and then married Gary Walter on April 23, 2011 and he survives.

She is survived 4 children; Steven P. (Kristy) Barba of Sturgis, South Dakota, Stephannie Lee (Tony) Souffe of Seychelles, Africa, Stacy Ann (John) Corbin of Wharton, Ohio, Scott A. Barba of Ada, Ohio. Five grandchildren, Andrea Kay Ryan, Jame Cliffton Frederick Barba, Kayla Lee Barba, Camille Georgeann Corbin, Corina Petrina Souffe and 1 great grandson Jude Steven Ryan. Along with a sister Judy Rose of Adrian, Michigan.

Sandra was retired from the Art Department of Marathon Oil in Findlay after 17 years. She attended Wharton United Methodist Church with husband and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, sewing, and decorating her home.

Funeral services for Sandra Lee Walter will be held at 11:00am, Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Wharton United Methodist Church, with Rev. Denny Livingston officiating.
Visitations will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and 1 hour before service time at the church on Monday.
