Ruth M Case

Ruth M. Case, age 90, of rural Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 3:15am at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Ruth was born on February 21, 1926 in Toledo, Ohio, to George and Matilda "Tillie" (Hauser) Beckman.  She married Robert D. Case on February 28, 1966 in the Nevada Lutheran Church and he passed away on October 9, 1995.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lynne and Paul.

Ruth was a homemaker and before her marriage worked as a dental hygienist in Toledo.

She was a 1944 graduate of Libbey High School in Toledo.

Ruth was a long time member of the Nevada Lutheran Church where she served on the altar committee and taught Sunday School for over 20 years.  She was a former member of the Nevada Lioness Club and a current member of the Nevada Lions Club and the Wyandot Garden Club.

For hobbies she enjoyed flower gardening, doing crossword puzzles, bird watching, and taking care of her cats.

It was Ruth's wish for her services to be private with burial taking place at Nevada Cemetery.
