Russell E. Swartz

Russell E. Swartz, age 65, of Forest, Ohio, passed away at 4:00 am on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Marion General Hospital.

Russell was born on August 12, 1960, in Upper Sandusky, to Harold and Marilyn (England) Swartz. Russell married Pamela Quail on March 1, 1980, and she survives in Forest, Ohio.

Russell is also survived by his children; Heather (Chad Lewis) Swartz and Benjamin Swartz, grandchildren; Noah VonDerau, Ashton Clark, Tansey Johnson, Leann Johnson, and Corbin Johnson, sister Irma Schoenberger, sister in law Juanita Swartz, and bonus parents, Bill and Linda Swartz. Russell is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings; Ronald, Dave, and Terry Swartz.

Russell graduated from Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and went on to work for Uni-Grip in Upper Sandusky for many years.

For hobbies, Russell enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR and the Buckeyes.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
