Roxanna "Roxie" Smith

Roxanna Smith (Roxie) of Upper Sandusky, OH passed away on Saturday, December 11th, 2021.

She was born on May 12, 1953, in Japan to the late Austin Edwin Faurot and Kiyoko (Isoda) Faurot. She was married to Carl Smith who preceded her in death on March 18, 2018.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Carrol (Junior) Foust, stepsons Carl (Diana) Craft and Delmer A. Smith of Upper Sandusky, OH, her sister Sandy (Derek) Watson of Findlay, OH, and brother Mike (Sharon) Faurot of Alpine, CA.

Roxie was the kind of gal you would never forget once you met her. In her younger days she was known as Yamaha Mama as she loved riding her purple Yamaha everywhere she went. She worked for many years at Imperial Cup and retired from Birchhaven Village. She enjoyed bingo and visiting casinos.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 20, 2021, at Lucas-Baton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, OH, and will be officiated by Pastor Jim Stauffer.

Visitations for Roxie will be held on Monday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made the family of Roxanna Smith to help cover funeral expenses and can be sent to Lucas-Batton at 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
