Rosey L. Riedel

Rosey L. Riedel, age 72, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio died Tuesday, January 06, 2009 at 2:55am at the Fairhaven Community- North Campus, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Rosey was born on July 20, 1936 near Bainbridge, in Ross County, Ohio to Rufus and Martha (Lewis) Bryant, both of whom are deceased.

Rosey is survived by a son, Fred R. (Suzanne) Larick of Upper Sandusky and a daughter Paula K. Riedel of Lima. Also surviving is a grandson, Steven (Tami) Wilde of St. Louis, Missouri and 2 great grandchildren, Rachel and Samuel. Along with a brother, Fred Bryant of Upper Sandusky and a sister Mary Sprang, also of Upper Sandusky.

She was preceded in death by a brother Grover Bryant and a sister Nora Shaffer.

Rosey worked for over 36 years at the former Millington Plastics in Upper as a inspector. Before that she had worked at Bucyrus Community Hospital. She was a member of the John Stewart United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky and also was a 1954 graduate of Marseilles High School.

For hobbies, she enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, playing cards, watching movies,and her cats.

Funeral services for Rosey L. Riedel will be held at 11:00am Thursday, January 8, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Wayne Geissinger officiating. Burial will
follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations will be Wednesday, January 7, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and 1 hour before service time on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be
made to the Wyandot County Humane Society or the donors choice and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
