Rosetta A. Barth, age 66, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 08, 2013 at
7:25pm in the Emergency Room of Bucyrus Community Hospital in Bucyrus.


She was born on February 19, 1947 in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Richard E. and Betty J. (Stury) Brown. Her father is deceased and her mother is living in London, Ohio. She married Edward Franklin "Frank" Barth on May 17, 1968 and he survives.

Also surviving are 3 daughters, Starlena (Walter Jr.) Hill of Bucyrus, Nikki (Dean) Van Horne of Charleston, West Virginia, and Lori (Gary Butts) Barth of Bucyrus. Along with 7 grandchildren, Courtney, Briana, Georgia, Trevor, Tyler, Gabi, and Candyel.

She is also survived by 2 sisters, Diana (Bill) Hawkins of London and Janice (Charles) Karcher of Upper Sandusky and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Albert Barth.

Rosetta was a homemaker and worked for many years as a nurse's aide. Having worked at Fairhaven Home in Upper Sandusky, Heartland in Bucyrus, and also Home Health. In the last few years, she worked part time in the kitchen at Carolyn's Kitchen in Bucyrus.

She was a member Emanuel United Church of Christ for over 50 years where she participated at one time with the Women's Guild. She was also a former member of the
Pythian Sisters in Nevada.

For hobbies, Rosetta enjoyed doing wood crafts and painting projects, which she blessed family and friends with her finished product. She also loved her dogs, Ivory, Snowball, BJ, Bear and Sugar Babe.

She will be remembered for her love for her family and how she many time put others needs before her own. She will be missed.

Funeral services for Rosetta A. Barth will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Martin Stiffler officiating. Burial will follow in Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Friday, October 11, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and 1 hour before service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Emanuel UCC or the Diabetes Foundation and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
