Rosemary A. Craig, age 73, of Morral, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Ohio.

Rosemary was born on October 9, 1951, to John D. and Mary S. "Sue" (Schindler) Koehler, both of whom are deceased. She married David A. Craig on August 17, 1974, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, and he survives.

She is also survived by her 3 children: Cindy (Pat) Frey of Delaware, Jennifer Craig of Upper Sandusky, and Matthew (Jessica) Craig of Morral. 6 grandchildren: Maci Craig, Cullen Craig, Dominic Frey, Gabby Frey, Cameron Frey, and Emilia Craig, and a great granddaughter, Alexandra Rose Craig, along with a brother, Samuel (Nicole) Koehler of Wharton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister Charlene Koehler.

Rosemary was a 1969 graduate of Ridgedale High School and went on to the Ohio State University, Marion Branch, and obtained her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She went on to teach for over 20 years in the elementary department of the Ridgedale School System.

She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, and was involved with WELCA, where she had served as president, active in the choir and bell choir, taught Sunday School and Junior church, and also was active with the annual Octoberfest with the church. She also served as a Stephen Minister for several years.

Rosemary served on the Morral Village council, and was responsible for the Morral newsletter for the community. She also was an advocate for cancer patients, and spoke on their behalf many times in Washington, DC.

For hobbies, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, taking bus day trips, attending her kids' and grandkids' sporting events and activities, volunteering for church and community events, and collecting cow decor.

Funeral services for Rosemary Craig will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Barry Halter. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery, Marion, Ohio.

Visitations will be held on Friday, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, and 1 hour before service time at the church on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Paul Lutheran Church, and can be sent to Lucas Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
