Ronnie Watson

Ronnie Watson, age 66, of Granville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 8:35pm at his home in Granville.
He was born on June 2, 1948 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Conward and Edna (Bailey) Watson, both of whom are deceased. He married Lola Jeanne Byrne on January 15, 1975, and she survives.

He is survived by 2 sons, Tom (Vikki) Schoffner of Granville, Ronnie (Brandy) Schoffner of Wharton, Ohio, and a daughter, Mary (Dave) Spradlin of Lucasville, Ohio.
Along with 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Ronnie also survived by 4 brothers, Fearl (Wanda) Watson of Salyersville, Mike (Fannie) Watson of Stoutsville, Ohio, Dawson Watson of Hindman, Kentucky, Darrell (Sandy) Watson of West Liberty, Kentucky. Along with 5 sisters, Marlene (Frank) Williams of Salyersville, Shirley Watson of Columbus, Ohio, Christine Pauley of Indiana, Rita Watson of Columbus, and Monna (Herb) Dingus of Salyersville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Regina Schoffner, a grandson, George A. Schoffner, a brother, Larry Watson, and 2 sisters, Gearl Bartlow and a sister at infancy, Donna Watson.

Ronnie was a carpenter his entire life. He was a former member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and also woodworking as hobbies.

Funeral services for Ronnie Watson will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, March 13, 2014 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada. Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Thursday, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
