Ronald L. Raymond

Ronald L. Raymond, age 82 of Findlay, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay Ohio.

Ron was born on June 21, 1938 in Upper Sandusky to Gareld Raymond and Dorothy (Hotelling) Leightey, both of whom are deceased.

He is survived by his 2 sisters, Ann Harris of Upper Sandusky, and Rita (Harvey) Stansbery of Upper Sandusky, along with many nieces and nephews.

Ron is also survived by his 3 sister in laws, Joyce Raymond of Kirtland, Ilse Raymond of Upper Sandusky, and Sandy Leightey of Upper Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Merle, Melvin and Allen Raymond, and Howard Leightey Jr. and a sister Linda Penwell.

Ron was a 1956 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to attend the Ohio State University.  He was a veteran having served in the US Navy and went on after college to work at Whirlpool in Findlay until his retirement.

For hobbies Ron enjoyed bowling, golfing, following the OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns and Indians.

Graveside services for Ronald L. Raymond will be held at 2:00pm Monday, November 9, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating.  Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard.
