Ronald A. Kramer

Ronald A. Kramer of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, died
Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 4:20pm at his home.

Ronald was born on January 8, 1941 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Ralph G. and A. Marie (Ballentine) Kramer both of whom are deceased. He married Kathleen L. Vaughn on October 18, 1963 in Upper Sandusky and she survives.

He is survived by three children: Angela R. (Troy) Armstrong of Bucyrus, Ohio and their children, Joel and Jacob Armstrong. Kristina K. (Mark) Nutter of Upper Sandusky, Ohio and their children, Chadd Kramer, and Nick Nutter, and Aaron S. Kramer of Upper Sandusky and his daughter Allison Kramer.

Ronald is also survived by a brother: David (Carol) Kramer of Upper Sandusky, and a sister: Pam (Bob) Bockey of Upper Sandusky.

Ronald was a graduate of Upper Sandusky High School in 1959. He then worked as a tow motor operator in receiving for 47 years at the former Blackhawk Automotive where he served as Fire Chief of its brigade. He served on the Upper Sandusky Fire Department for 15 years. He was an avid bowler where he played in many leagues, enjoyed cars, four wheeling, and go-cart racing. He also assisted his wife with her craft shop.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Robert E. Surgenor officiating the service. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Friends may come to call on Sunday, November 16 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.
