Rodney Lee Clinger, 48, formerly of Upper Sandusky and recently of Howard, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on October 12, 1965 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Norman and Katherine Eileen (Rowland) Clinger. His father is deceased and his mother, Eileen, is living in Upper Sandusky.
Rodney is survived by his sister, Lisa (Don) Jones of Gambier; two brothers, Jeff (Ann) Clinger, and Greggory Clinger of Upper Sandusky; a niece Jana Jones, and two nephews, Brad Jones and Jayson Clinger.
Rodney was a self-employed property owner, and formerly co-managed the family farm. He also had previously worked for Worthington Industries and Dana Corp., both in Upper Sandusky.
For hobbies he enjoyed fishing, jet skiing, riding 4-wheelers, and RC cars and planes. Most of all Rodney loved spending time with his family.
A funeral service for Rodney Lee Clinger will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00PM at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
