Robert J. Stuckey

Robert J. Stuckey, age 88, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on Friday
November 25, at 7;37pm at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

Robert was born in Eden Township on June 24, 1923 to Hans and Katherine (Teuscher) Stuckey, both of whom are deceased. He married Lois Gilliland on August 9, 1964 and she survives.

Also surviving are 2 children, Robert (Diane) Stuckey of Upper Sandusky and Sue (Mark) Wasielewski of Macedonia, Ohio. And 3 grandchildren Robert Keith and Nicholas Hans Stuckey, and Madelyn Rose Wasielewski.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pauline Walton and Katherine Grimm.

Robert was a lifelong farmer being the 3rd generation to take over the family farm in Eden Township. He was a 1941 graduate of Eden High School and a member of the Eden Chapel and member of the former Salem United Methodist Church.

He was a former member of the Wyandot County Beef Association, Wyandot County Pork Association, Wyandot County Farm Bureau and a former member of the board of directors for the Nevada Grainery.

For hobbies Robert enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and enjoying his pond and also he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert J. Stuckey will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Brandon Keck and Rev. Ralph Krall officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Monday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and also 1 hour before the funeral on Tuesday.
