Robert O. Stowe

Robert O. Stowe, age 65, of the Wyandot Village in Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Dayton VA Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

He was born on June 1, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Everett and Thelma (Dunham) Stowe, both of whom are deceased. He married Wanda Meade on May 5, 1972 in Morral, Ohio and she survives.

Also surviving is a son, Steven W. (Michelle) Stowe of Tiffin, Ohio, and two daughters, Sola (David) Clair of Marseilles, and Kristy Stowe of Wyandot. Along with seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Robert is also survived by five brothers, Everett Stowe Jr., of Upper Sandusky, Donald (Mary) Stowe of Idaho, Vern Stowe of Marseilles, William Stowe of Upper Sandusky, Frank (Karen) Stowe of Bloomville and Joe (Donna) Stowe of Bucyrus, and a sister Opal (Richard) Vehrs of Bucyrus.

He was preceded in death by a son Robert O. Stowe Jr.

Robert was a truck driver and drove for over 20 years for Zachrich Trucking of Holgate, Ohio. He was a veteran of the US Army having served his country during the Vietnam War.

His hobbies included watching WWE, NASCAR and especially Dale Jarrett, playing cards and racing video games. He also was enjoyed working on cars.

Memorial Services for Robert O. Stowe will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the Epsyville Church in Marion, Ohio, with the Rev. Harry Meade officiating.
