Robert N. Miller, age 94, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio
passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 5:15pm
at the Fairhaven Retirement and Healthcare Community in Upper Sandusky.

Bob was born on August 31, 1917 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Harry and Eva (Smith) Miller, both of whom are deceased.

He is survived by a brother, David (Alice) Miller and a sister Marjorie Blair, both of Upper Sandusky. Robert is also survived 2 nieces Melanie (Ted) Dillion of Cincinnati, Ohio and Karen (Jeff) Pryor of Upper Sandusky and 2 nephews Larry Miller of Upper Sandusky and Gary (Mary)Longstreth of Dublin, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joe and Harry Miller and 2 sisters, Jane Longstreth and Mary Weaver.

Bob was retired after many years as a mechanic having worked for the following Ford Dealerships, Ellis Ford, Grundtisch Ford and Eippert Ford located all in Upper Sandusky.

He was also a veteran of U.S. Army during WWII, having served in 2 Major
engagements in the Western Pacific Theater.

Bob was a 1936 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. A life member of the American Legion Post #225 and BPOE#83. For hobbies he enjoyed being outside and tending to his tomatoes, and also going for his daily walk throughout Upper Sandusky.

Funeral Services for Robert N. Miller will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Ben Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery where Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky Color Guard.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
