Robert D. Kemerley

Robert D. Kemerley, age 73, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio passed away on December 27, 2010 at 10:41am in the emergency room at Bucyrus Community Hospital in Bucyrus, Ohio.

Robert was born on August 9, 1937 in Carey, Ohio to Clarence and Lorenah (Gilliland) Kemerley, both of whom are deceased. He married Maxine F. Williams on May 20, 1955 in Dunquat, Ohio and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

He is survived by 2 sons, Brad (Deb) Kemerley of Blanchard, OK, Michael Kemerley of Fostoria, Ohio, 2 daughters, Elaine (Anthony) Sweet of Carey, Ohio and Carol (James) Benner of Carey, Ohio. 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren survive. Along with a sister Nina C. Luzader of Bucyrus, Ohio and a brother, Roger Kemerley of Harlingen, Texas.

Robert was preceded in death by by 2 sisters, Lucille Swindler, Lois Keiser and a 2 brothers, Doren and Leonard.

Robert was retired having worked for Cooper Tire in Findlay and also Snyder Lumber Company in Carey. He was a member of Findlay Amateur Radio Club and had been attending First United Brethren Church in Findlay. For hobbies he enjoyed his amateur radio and woodworking.

Memorial services for Robert D. Kemerley will be held at 1:00pm Friday, December 31 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Pastor Chester Conley officiating. It was Robert's wish to be cremated.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 11:30am to 1:00pm at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
