Robert G. Hawk

Robert “Bob” G. Hawk, age 89, of rural Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Vancrest of Upper Sandusky.

Bob was born on July 30, 1936, in Marion, Ohio, to Omar “Joe” and Gertrude (Deal) Hawk, both of whom are deceased. He married Susanne “Susie” White on October 13, 1956, and she survives.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Hawk, who passed away on December 3, 2020, a sister Maxine Alban, and a brother Darold “Sparky” Hawk.

He was a 1955 graduate of Harpster High School, and started his farming career, buying his first farm in 1959, and continuing his farming operation to this day.

Bob was active with the Wyandot County Fair, working there during fair time, helping with the animals, and with 4H, with his daughter Lisa.

For hobbies, Bob enjoyed collecting his John Deere memorabilia, drag racing his old cars, and trapshooting.

Services for Robert E. Hawk will be private, with burial at Grand Prairie Cemetery, Marion, Ohio.
