Robert E. Creamer

Robert E. Creamer, age 92, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at 12:30am at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Bob was born on June 1, 1923 in Hardin County, Ohio to Harry and Lillian (Rainsburg) Creamer. He married Floy Jane Houser on June 27, 1942, and she passed away on December 24, 2010.


He is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Koehler of Upper Sandusky, and a son, Robert (Janet) Creamer of Roanoke, Virginia. 8 grandchildren, Barb (Jim) Montaque, Didi (Wade) France, Jenny (Duane) Ham, Laura (Tim) Lewis, Jessica (Rich Richardson) Creamer, Bradley Creamer, Jeff Koehler, and Kristi (Bryan) Swartz, along with 16 great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by a son, Carl Creamer, a grandson, Carl Brady Creamer, and a sister, Audrey Blair.

Bob was a 1941 graduate of Ridgeway High School. He worked in his younger years driving a feed grinder to area farmers in Wyandot, Hardin, and Marion County. He later worked for Harris Electric in Upper Sandusky, and then ended up working and retiring from Guardian Industries in Upper Sandusky.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical U.M.C in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies, Bob enjoyed in his younger years playing softball in the Industrial and Church Leagues. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, bowling, following OSU basketball, and the Cleveland Indians. His love was his family, and grandchildren.

The family of Robert E. Creamer will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00am in the John Stewart United Methodist Church, Upper Sandusky.
