Robert Bower, age 95, of Marion, and formerly of Harpster, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Inniswood Village of Westerville, Ohio. Robert was born on August 20, 1929 in Wyandot County, Ohio, to Marion and Minnie
(Lamb) Bower. He married Lorraine Hensel and she survives.
He is also survived by his 3 daughters: Jill Bower of Riverview, Florida, Vicki Werely of Marion, and Tracy Johnson of Columbus, along with 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Richard, Harold, Charles and Raymond, and 2 sisters, Olive and Eleanor.
Robert was a graduate of Marseilles High School and went on to serve in the US Army during the Korean War. For many years, he worked as a barber at the Corner Barbershop in Marion.
Graveside services for Robert Bower will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, October 26, at the Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, Ohio.
