Rickie F. Stowe

Rickie F. Stowe, age 58, of Marseilles, Ohio died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 4:44pm in Triumph Hospital at St. Rita's in Lima, Ohio.

Rickie was born on February 2, 1952 in Kenton, Ohio to Roy L. Brown, who is deceased and Joan (Crider) Brown who survives in Upper Sandusky. she married Verne R. Stowe, Sr., on June 5, 1974 in Marseilles.

Also surviving are her 2 sons Dennis D. Stansbery and his fiancAC. Julie Cochran of Cardington, Ohio, and Verne R. (Sabrina) Stowe, Jr. of Marseilles. 6 Grandchildren, Courtney Nicole Stowe, Brandon Lee Stowe, Jasmine Ann Stowe, Destiny Elizabeth Stowe, Chase Allen Smith, Katlin Marie Smith and step grandchildren Julia Osborne and Jessie and Jerimiah Hamon.

Rickie is also survived by 3 brothers, James R. (Cheryl) Brown of Upper Sandusky, Charles E. Brown of Upper Sandusky, Richard A. (Debra) Brown of Little Sandusky and 4 sisters, Terese L. (Joe) Woodruff of Upper Sandusky, Karen L. Hall of Cleveland, Lori Lynn Brown of Upper Sandusky and Mary A. Snyder of Upper Sandusky.

Rickie was a homemaker and had worked for Dairy Mart both in Upper Sandusky and Bucyrus, the former WPI, Bonded in Carey and U-Brand Industries.

For hobbies Rickie enjoyed making ripple afghans, tie blankets, collecting teddy bears and angels, following NASCAR with her
favorites being Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. and before loosing her
eye sight she enjoyed being on the computer and also playing Tentras on her Nintendo.

Funeral services for Rickie F. Stowe will be held at 11:00am Saturday, June 19 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Matt Doerle officiating. Burial will follow at Chandler Cemetery in Marseilles.

Visitations will be held on Friday, June 18 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
