Richard P. Landversicht, 68, of Upper Sandusky, died at 8:07 a.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.
He was born November 16, 1945 in Bucyrus to the late Russell F. and Lois (Wilhelm) Landversicht. He married Kathy Anne Luzader on March 9, 1968 in Carey, Ohio. She survives in Upper Sandusky.
Surviving are a son, Eric Daniel (Brenda) Landversicht of Westerville, two grandchildren: Connor Zachary and Emma Grace Landversicht, and two sisters: Joyce Ann (Jerry) Donnelly of Columbus and Jane Louise Mollencopf of Bucyrus.
A 1964 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School, he was a Vietnam Era Veteran serving as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army from January of 1966 to December of 1967. He was a member of the American Legion 225, Wyandot County Rod and Gun Club, and John Stewart United Methodist Church all in Upper Sandusky.
Richard retired as the materials clerk at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in 2012.
A private graveside service will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
