Rhonda J Spiegel

Rhonda J. Spiegel of Nevada, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones after battling cancer for the fifth time, she was 62.

Born in Bucyrus Ohio on October 14, 1962, to the parents of Carl and Christine (Rittenberry) Shope, who both proceed her in death. After graduating from Wynford High School in 1982, she married the love of her life, Ron "Poppa" Spiegel on November 29, 1986, and who proceeds her in death. Rhonda has one brother, Darrell who proceeds her in death, and a brother Harold who has been lost to the family but never forgotten.

Rhonda is survived by her children, Jason (Lauren Lahman) Shope of Bucyrus, and Tosha (Alex) Winter of Nevada. Grandchildren Serenity Shope, Sully Shope, and Samantha Andrew Dyer.

Rhonda enjoyed riding her Harley with both her kids as well as other friends and family. Although Rhonda was an avid animal lover she had a special bond with her Goose Baby Goose dog. Rhonda enjoyed spending time with family at their Sunday night dinners and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians.

A celebration of life for Rhonda J. Spiegel will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, with Pastor John Kibler officiating.
