Rebecca J. Serin

Rebecca J. Serin (Reamsnyder), age 83, of Grand Island, Florida and formerly of
Carey, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Florida Hospital Waterman in Tavares, Florida.

She was born on December 25, 1928 Berwick, Ohio to Frank and Ellen (Wherle) Funk, both of deceased. She was once married to Richard Barth and he is deceased. She then married Robert E. "Goat" Reamsnyder and he is also deceased. She was presently married to John Serin and he survives in Grand Island.

Also surviving are 2 sons, Dennis Barth of Port Clinton and Donald (Carol) Barth of Upper Sandusky, and 2 daughters, Bonnie (Bob) McKee of Carey and June Bland of Fostoria, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Along with a foster daughter Beth (Jack) Book of Upper Sandusky.

Rebecca is also survived by a brother Frank (Joyce) Funk of Nevada and a sister Goldie Sowers of Adrian, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by a brother Claude Funk and a sister Rosie Terry
also grandchild Andy Barth and great grand children Corey McKee and
Renae McKee.

Rebecca was retired as an inspector with A.O. Smith in Upper Sandusky after 30 years. She was a former member of the following organizations in Upper Sandusky, the Moose Lodge, VFW Ladies Auxillary and the American Legion.

For hobbies she enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time with her family.

Funeral services for Rebecca J. Serin will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
