Rebecca O. Myers

Rebecca O. Myers, age 91, passed away at 4:00 pm on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Upper Sandusky.

Rebecca was born on January 18, 1935, in Newark, Ohio, to Robert and Ora Belle (Noble) Seckel. She married Gordon Eugene Myers on December 27, 1953, in Marion, Ohio, and he preceded her in death on April 6, 2004.

Rebecca is survived by her 4 children, Pamela (Michael) Morral, of Upper Sandusky, Rodney (Lisa) Myers of Morral, Tammy (Keith) Chapman of New Jersey, Brad (the late Amy) Myers of Marion, 8 grandchildren: Josh (Michelle) Morral of Upper Sandusky, Corey (Kara) Myers of Marion, Zach Morral of Upper Sandusky, Jason (Vanessa) Chapman of Westport, CT, Crystal (Amon) Ray of Marion, Camilla (Ethan) Myers of Marysville, Jonathan (Brandi) Myers of Marion, Brooklin Poppell of Marengo, 14 great grandchildren: Tristan, Samuel, Lane, Jade, Kase, Kane, Klohe, Carter, Marshall, Lennox, Kinslee, Julian, Sienna, and Lux. Rebecca is also survived by her sister, Audrey Kirkman of Bucyrus.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter in law Amy Myers, and brother Ralph (Martha) Sickel.

Rebecca graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1953 and went on to work as a Nurse’s Aide primarily at the Smith Clinic in Marion, for over 20 years - Rebecca loved taking care of people.

For hobbies, Rebecca loved tending to her flowers and gardening, reading old westerns and the Bible – which she had read 17 times. She also loved her dogs.

Rebecca was a long-time member of the Marion Church of Christ where she was very involved over the years. More recently, Rebecca was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Upper Sandusky.

Services for Rebecca will be private.
