Ralph M. Davidson

Ralph M. Davidson, age 74, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 12:41am at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.

Ralph was born on May 8, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to John and Hilda (Gutenberg) Davidson, both of whom are deceased. He was first married to Evilue Bower of Nevada, and then married Dorothy Prater and she survives in Upper Sandusky.

He is survived by 2 sons, Kyle (Ann) Davidson, and Brian (Vicki Wentling) Davidson both of Upper Sandusky, and a daughter, Dawn (Mark) Irving of Tiffin. 3 grandchildren Amanda, Anthony and Lane, and 3 great grandchildren all of them in Tiffin, along with a brother, Bill (Porki) Davidson, and 3 sisters, Winifred Clinger of Upper Sandusky, Irene Cass of Wyoming, Jessie Farley of Carey, and a sister in law, Edna "Cookie" Davidson of Nevada.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Ed Davidson, Mary Katherine Welly, John Barney Davidson, Don Davidson, Mark Davidson, Rachel Long, and Shirley Ellison.

He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. After coming home from the service, Ralph began his career driving truck for Roppe Corporation in Fostoria, retiring after 44 years from there and over 4 million miles accident free.

He was a member of the former Salem St. Joseph Catholic Church in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies Ralph enjoyed watching westerns, tracking the weather, and in his younger years, working on engines.

Graveside services for Ralph Davidson will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Salem St. Joseph Cemetery in Upper Sandusky with Deacon Kevin Winterstellar officiating.

Visitations will be held on Monday, November 28, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
