Peggy Ann Pfeiffer, age 70, of Wharton, Ohio, went on to be with her beautiful Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at her home in Wharton.
Peggy was born on May 18, 1954, in Bluffton, Ohio to Donald E. and Ann J. (Kear) Plotts, both of whom are deceased. She married Richard H. Pfeiffer on March 23, 1974 in the Wharton U.M.C. and he survives.
She is also survived by her 2 children: Brittany (Drew) Roach of Forest, and Brandon (Char) Pfeiffer of Innsbrook, Missouri. 3 grandchildren, Ella and Blaine Roach, and Rexton Pfeiffer, and a brother Matt (Lori) Plotts of Tiffin.
Peggy was a 1972 graduate of Riverdale High School where she played in the band and was the head majorette. She went on to get her degree in cosmetology from the Tiffin Academy of Hair Design and worked for Ricks Beauty Salon and The New Look of which she owned and operated for a time. Peggy was a hairdresser in Upper Sandusky for 50 years before she retired.
She was a member of Heritage Christian Union Church in Forest where she was active with the Church in the Park service in Forest every year. She also was a former member of Wharton U.M.C. where she served as the secretary for the administrative council and head of the missions ministry with the church along with being the co-founder of the Forest Wharton Food Pantry.
Peggy participated with the Wyandot Council on Aging and enjoyed taking part in their various trips. A member of the Wharton Richland Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the former Salem Grange, Wyandot County Dart Ball League, and a volunteer with the Look Good-Feel Better, a ministry to come along side for those who are currently fighting Cancer.
She enjoyed watching the many deer on her property, flower gardening, feeding the birds, and making her famous macaroni salad for all to enjoy. Camping was also a life long joy with loved ones and was a member of the RV There Yet camping club. She also kept busy with crafts through the years, beginning with ceramics, crocheting baskets, making wreaths, and then stamping. Peggy was a huge supporter of her grandkids sports as you would find her out supporting many different events at Riverdale from Blaine's games, to Ella's meets and also to her grandson Rexton's events in Missouri. In between her grandkids sports, she would still be out supporting many other kids in many events. In addition to being a supporter of the sports, she loved watching her granddaughter Ella in all her elite cheer. She also enjoyed taking craft show trips and Florida trips with Brittany and Ella.
Her biggest love was her Lord, and then her family. She was the biggest fan of her kids and grandkids, and was always there for them through all of their activities.
A special thanks to Bridge Hospice and Armes Family Cancer Center, for the loving help, and support with caring for Peggy.
