Pearl E. Crum, age 86, of Upper Sandusky, died on Friday,
March 6, 2009 at 12:53 PM at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

Pearl was born on December 30, 1922 in Greenup, Kentucky to the late Henry and Virginia (Brown) Crum. She married Sanford "Dewey" Crum on July 22, 1938 in Greenup, Kentucky and he died on October 20, 1981.

Pearl is survived by her daughter: Addie Ohl of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, a sister: Garnet Salyers of Greenup, Kentucky; two grandchildren: William Ohl of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, and Tina (Ohl) Myers of Ohio City, Ohio, and four great-grandsons: Dalton Ohl, David, James, and Brian Myers.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters: Elsie Brightfellow, Kathryn Hicks, and Marie Jackson, three brothers: Frank Crum, Earl Crum, and John Crum, and a son-in-law: Bill Ohl.

Mrs. Crum had worked at Orbitron in Upper Sandusky for many years. She then continued to work at Wyandot Memorial Hospital and later at Kroney's Restaurant, until she left to spend time with her four great-grandsons.

Pearl enjoyed going out to eat with her family and friends, quilting, crocheting, watching "Big Time Wrestling" on TV, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, they were her life.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandot Memorial Hospital or the Hospice of Wyandot County and may be sent in care of Lucas-Batton Funeral Home 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351.
