Paul E. Wood, age 53, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Saturday,

February 20, 2016 at 5:50am at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky.

Paul was born on April 9, 1962 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to James and Delores (Elliott) Wood, both of whom are deceased.

He is survived by his brother, Daniel Wood of Upper Sandusky, and 3 sisters, Selma (Tom) Fox of Upper Sandusky, Sarah (Rick) Cannode of Kenton, and Diane (James) Bland of Kenton.

He also is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.

Paul was a 1982 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School.  He had worked for Wyandot County Recycling and Angeline Industries, both in Upper Sandusky.

He was a member of the Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene.

Paul enjoyed going to tractor and steam engine shows, attending auctions, traveling to amish country, and splitting wood.

He will be remembered for his love for his family and his loving spirit for others.

Funeral services for Paul E. Wood will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Jed Brake officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, from 5:0pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
