Patricia Ann (Manko) Vogel

Patricia Ann Vogel, age 73, of Upper Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

Patty was born on June 28, 1951, in Oakland, Maryland to Ralph and Bertha (Hurd) Manko and they survive in Upper Sandusky.

Patty is also survived by her children: Melissa (Shane) Bocock of Apple Valley, David (Becky) Vogel of Perrysburg; grandchildren: Aidric, Addyson, Avrianna, and Ashton Bocock; Elizabeth, Samantha, and Meredith Vogel; brother Rick Manko of Upper Sandusky, and sister Connie (Bill) Affholder of Fostoria.

Patty graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1969 and attended cosmetology school in Tiffin. Patty worked at various hair salons in Upper Sandusky, owned Upper Cuts Hair Salon, and served homebound clients.

Patty was a loving mother and treasured family traditions such as baking and decorating for Christmas. She enjoyed cheering for her children and grandchildren's sporting events, as well as all her favorite teams.

Patty's hobbies included making cakes, sewing, playing the piano, and in her childhood, dancing and twirling baton.

Visitations for Patricia Ann Vogel will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home and will be followed by a memorial service officiated by Rev. Jim Stauffer.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
