Norma K. Milum, age 70, of Harpster, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 6:28 am at the Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky.
Norma was born on April 21, 1954 in Marion, Ohio, to Lee and Kathryn (Miner) Barber, both of whom are deceased. She married Jim Milum on November 16, 1975, at the John Stewart Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky, and he survives.
She is survived by 2 children, Nikki (Matthew) Price of Marion, and Ben (Becky) Milum of Clinton, Iowa, and 6 grandchildren, Reid, Noah, and Ethan Price, and Nathan, Edric, and Cora Milum.
Norma is also survived by a sister, Nancy (Roger) Medding of Big Island, Ohio.
She was a 1972 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to graduate from the Marion School of Cosmetology.
Norma retired from the Marion Medical Campus, the former Smith Clinic, after many years, and before that she had worked at Liqui Box in Upper Sandusky.
She was a long-time member of the Harpster United Methodist Church, where she was active with the Harpster Helping Hands Women's Group through the church. She made all the noodles for the various church suppers and helped teach children's Sunday School.
Norma collected fenton glass, especially angels, butterflies, and praying children figurines, and was a member and served on the board of the National Fenton Glass Society. She enjoyed baking, sewing, bird watching, and doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching the Cleveland Guardians. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Funeral services for Norma K. Milum will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating. Burial will follow at Little Sandusky Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at the Lucas Batton Funeral Home.
