Nancy J. Shane, age 71, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on January 16, 2022 at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio.

Nancy was born on February 28, 1950 in Bluffton, Ohio, to Marvin and Geneva (Bennett) Lehman, both of whom are deceased.  She married James Otto Shane on May 29, 1970 at St. John's Mennonite Church in Bluffton, and he survives.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Kent (Barb) Shane of Upper Sandusky, Matt (Lisa) Shane of Wharton, Brad (Emily) Shane of Forest.  11 grandchildren, Marc, Jesse, Kaitie, Dakota, Morgan, Kohlten, Breanah, Hunter, Maria, Ethan and Konrad.  Along with 6 great grandchildren, Landon, Brooklyn, Brently, Bradley, Cristopher, and Jackson.

Nancy is also survived by 4 brothers, Richard Lehman of Pandora, Doug (Rosalyn) Lehman of Pandora and Oregon, Byron Lehman of Upper Sandusky, Lynn (Deb) Lehman of Pandora, and a sister, Chris (Tom) Cherry of Columbus Grove, along with a sister in law, Jennell Shane of Findlay.

She was preceded in death by 3 sister in laws, Julie Baker, Marilyn Lehman, and Linda Lehman.

Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Pandora Gilboa High School and went on to graduate from the Tiffin University with a degree in business.  She was a homemaker and also had worked for Marty's IGA, Ben Franklin, both in Upper Sandusky,  and retired from Quality Products in Bluffton.

She was a member of Big Oak United Methodist Church.

For hobbies Nancy enjoyed sewing, and quilting.  Along with helping the family show cattle all over Ohio and the United States.

Funeral services for Nancy Shane will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Don Clinger officiating. Burial will be at Wharton Richland Union Cemetery.

Visitations will be held Friday, January 21, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, and 1 hour before service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Big Oak United Methodist Church,  and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
