Nancy Ann Karcher

Nancy Ann Karcher, age 71 of rural Nevada, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 7:57pm at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.

Nancy was born on July 28, 1949 in Marion, Ohio to the late Earl and Darlene (Thompson) Dodson.  She was married to Danny Karcher in 1976 who survives.  Nancy is preceded in death by her late husband Steven Benson, son Troy Benson and brother Bill Dodson.

Nancy is survived by two sons: Steven Benson of Nevada, and Daniel (Erica) Karcher of Marysville, Ohio. Six grandchildren: Levi and Kendra Benson, Chase Benson, Savanah, Riley and McKenzie Karcher, along with a great granddaughter Emery Willow, and a daughter in law, Terri Benson of LaRue, Ohio.

Nancy had drove bus and assisted since 1988 for Angeline School and Industries in Upper Sandusky.

For hobbies she enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling, going to Amish country, collecting Betty Boop items, listening to Elvis and participating in Mother's Club.  Most of all she cherished her time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Funeral service for Nancy Ann Karcher will be held at 1:00pm Monday, September 28, 2020 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Rorke Warne officiating.  Burial will follow at Nevada Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Monday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky.
