Myrtle E. "June" Kalb

June 24, 1933 — September 17, 2012

Myrtle E. "June" Kalb, age 79, of Harpster, Ohio, passed away on
Monday, September 17, 2012 at the Marion General Hospital
in Marion, Ohio.

Myrtle was born on June 24, 1933 in Renova, PA to Fred and Myrtle (Grugen) Brooks both of whom are deceased. She married John Kalb Jr. in Angola, Indiana on May 14, 1955 and he survives.

Myrtle is also survived by a son, Steven Mathew (Pam) Kalb of Kenton, Ohio and two daughters, Aakansha Kay "Debi" (Rajeev) Malhotra of Dublin, Ohio and Lisa Jean (Dan) Brodman of Wharton, along with ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Freddie, Richard, James and Robert and 4 sisters, Shirley, Mabel, Doris and Mary.

June was a homemaker and also had served as a waitress in her early years in Renova, then upon moving to Ohio worked as a cashier at the Barr Co. in Kenton and then spent 10 years at the Imperial Cup Co. also in Kenton.

She was a member of the Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene, where she was the former Sunday School Superintendent and greeter. She and John were former
Member of the Kenton Church of the Nazarene where she served as the church secretary.

For hobbies June enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, playing computer games, collecting lighthouses and cooking for her family.

June will be remembered for her love for music and worshiping in song, her love for
Her family and most importantly her love for serving her Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services for June Kalb will be held as 11:00AM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Ben Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Friday, September 21, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and 1 hour before service time
at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Sandusky Church of the Nazarene and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
