Murray Dale Harriman

Murray Dale Harriman, age 58, of Morral, Ohio, passed away on July 30, 2014 at his home.

He was born on October 6, 1955 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Dale Laurel and Nona Doreen (Griffin) Harriman, both of whom are deceased.

Murray is survived by a daughter Shannon (Greg) Downing of Prospect, Ohio, and 5 grandchildren, Kayla and Kie Stevenson, Cody, Brittany and Larkin Downing. Along with 3 brothers, Laurel (Becky) Harriman, Dean Harriman and Dana (Kimberly) Harriman, all of rural Morral, and a half sister, Lisa Waterfall of Hartville, Ohio.

He is also survived by his good friend Marion Hartley of Marion, Ohio.

Murray was a 1974 graduate of Ridgedale High School and for hobbies he enjoyed raising and taking care of his dogs, especially his Shih Tzu's. He also like to collect knives, listening to all kinds of music and followed NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon.

Funeral services for Murray Dale Harriman will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with the Rev. Steve Whitaker officiating. Burial will follow in Agosta Cemetery, New Bloomington.

Visitations will be held prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
