Michael W. Cornish

Michael Wayne Cornish, age 59, of rural Forest, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 11:00pm in the Emergency Room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Born on July 29, 1954 in Upper Sandusky, he is the son of Franklin T. Sr., and Anna "Ann" (Myers) Cornish. His father is deceased and his mother is living in Upper Sandusky. He is survived by the love of his life and companion the past 36 years, Melanie Billock of Forest.

Mike is also survived his siblings, Roxanne Orr of Upper Sandusky Franklin Jr. "Ted" (Barb) Cornish of Upper Sandusky, Karen (Joe) Lawrence, Forest, Tammy (Dean) Mulvaine, Wharton, Ohio. And many nieces and nephews.

Mike was a 1973 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to work as a quality controller for the former Continental Hose and Blackhawk Corporation, both of Upper Sandusky.

Mike was a former member of the Sons of the Amvets #777 in Upper Sandusky. For hobbies he enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, wildlife and bird watching, and spoiling his numerous cats. And most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday, October 8, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Funeral services for Michael W. Cornish will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Jim Stauffer officiating.
