Melody Lee Meadows-Kramer, 51, of rural Upper Sandusky, died at 12:30 a.m. on
Saturday, March 23, 2013 in her home.
She was born on January 12, 1962 in Mansfield,Ohio and is the daughter of the late
Sarah E. Beabouts Stitzel.
She was married to Michael C. Kramer on May 2, 1992 and he survives in rural Upper Sandusky.
Melody is survived by her father, Gary Stitzel of Ashland, a son, Kerry E. (Sara)
Workman of Ashland, a daughter, Christian J. Bedore of Pittsburg, KS, four
grandchildren; Jenia Kleinholz, Landon Workman, Logan Adkins, and Sophia Workman,
six siblings; Warren (Sheila) Meadows, Don (Kathy) Meadows, Jeff (Vicki) Meadows,
Bill (Cameo) Meadows, Angie (Bobby Puckett) Meadows, and Dwayne (Tammy) Stitzel,
and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are three brothers; Kerry, Kenny, and Rik Meadows, and a niece,
Sara Meadows.
A graduate of Ashland High School, she worked at a job she loved and she loved the people she worked with as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at Tiffin Mercy Hospital for the past 15+ years.
Melody had a zest for life, she woke up every morning with a smile and loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, cooking, grilling out on the patio, and her eight dogs. She enjoyed spending Sunday mornings watching the Food Network and attending food shows at the IX Center in Cleveland. She was a motorcycle enthusiast, riding the past 20 years on antique Indians, BMW's and other vintage bikes as well as modern models as well. She was a founding member of the Plank Road Ramblers and Scramblers and an associate member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America.
Visitation will be from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Lucas-Batton
Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
A celebration of Melody's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27,
2013 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stefanie Speilman
Comprehensive Breast Center or Hospice of Wyandot County in care of Lucas-Batton
