Melissa J. Miller

Heaven received a very special angel on today, our beloved Melissa. Hold on tight to God's hand and we are holding on tight to your heart.

Melissa J. Miller, age 35, of Nevada, Ohio died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 2:55pm at the Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio where she fought a courageous battle for life.

She was born on March 22, 1973 in Galion, Ohio to Kelley and Stephanie (Powers) Moore, who both survive in Nevada.

She married Joseph "Joe" Miller on July 23, 1994 in the Nevada Lutheran Church and he survives in Nevada.
Also surviving are 2 sisters, Tracie (Jason) White and Tonya (Chris) Beck, both of Nevada. Maternal Grandparents, James and Mary Powers of Bucyrus. Father and mother in law, Ed and Shirley Miller of Sycamore and
brother in law, Gregg Miller of Bucyrus.

Melissa is also survived by a special niece, Mikayla. in which they spent countless hours growing closer together, as well as her other nieces and nephews, Graham Ditmars, Alexis and Emma White, Hunter Beck and Alydia Miller. She is also survived by many aunts and uncles.

Melissa was a employee with Walmart in Upper Sandusky and before that she had worked at the former Continental Hose in Upper and Ohio Heartland Head Start in Bucyrus.

She was a long time member of the Nevada Lutheran Church. She had served on the Nevada Water Board and was a flag line advisor with the
Americattes Baton Club. She also helped with the Relay for Life, with the Walmart Team.

A 1991graduate of Wynford High School, where she was active in the band as a flag girl. Also while in school, she also had played softball and volleyball and had a love for art. She was involved in 4H for many years and had a love for rabbits and she was especially close to her beloved dogs, Shelby and Maggy.
