Mary E. Starcher

Mary E. Starcher, age 74, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 1:02am at the Marion General Hospital.

Mary was born on February 26, 1940 in Marion, Ohio to Harold and Jenny (Marshall) Smith, both of whom are deceased. She married Harley Starcher and he passed away on June 11, 1973.

She is survived by 5 children, Donna (Mark) West of Valrico, Florida, Stephen (Maryanna) Starcher of Brandon, Florida, Julie Starcher of Portage, Ohio, John Scott Starcher of London, Ohio, and J. Lynn (Kevin) Myers of Upper Sandusky. 8 granchildren, Mark West, Amy West, Kelly (James) Moll, Ashley Smith, Erick Smith, David Cosart, Ryan Myers and Jacob Myers, and 1 great grandson, Christian Smith.

Mary is also survived by 2 brothers, David Smith of Upper Sandusky and Jim Smith, and 2 sisters, V. Carol Sanderson of Cleveland, and Della Jean McCloud of Marion.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Smith.

Mary was a homemaker and worked for 30 years for Mueller Plastics in Upper Sandusky, retiring in 2000.

For hobbies she loved going to garage sales. Her greatest love was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandson. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services for Mary E. Starcher will be private.
