Mary Louise Snyder

Mary Louise (Susie) Snyder, age 89, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010 at 7:55am at the home of her daughter Connie Cooper in Upper Sandusky.

She was born on July 23, 1921 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to Lewis and Doris (Kramer) Pool, both of whom are deceased. She married Harold "Pete" Snyder on February 22, 1941 in Napoleon, Ohio and he died on June 7, 2002.

Surviving Mary Louise are a daughter Connie L. Cooper of Upper Sandusky and a son Wayne Snyde and wife Sharon Hill of Poway, California. Along with 8 grandchildren, Brent Sours of Columbus, Ohio, Melodie Howard of Columbus, Nanette Rinehart of West Fargo North Dakota, Nate Sours of Upper Sandusky, Renee (Joel) Feldman of San Francisco, CA, and Julie (Nate Niami) Snyder of Lancaster, California, Ashley Cooper and Lacey Cooper both of Upper Sandusky and 5 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by 2 brothers, Ed (Dorothy) Pool of Upper Sandusky, Roy (Carol) Pool of Englewood, Florida and 2 sisters, Carol (Larry) Bare of Upper Sandusky, and Ethel Bishop of Jackson, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by a sister Esther Merwine and a brother Alfred Pool.

Mary Louise was a homemaker and also did home cleaning for many families in the area along with working for Fairhaven Home in Upper Sandusky for many years.

She was a long time member of the Bible Church in Little Sandusky. For hobbies Mary Louise enjoyed sewing, reading the bible and just being with her family.

A Memorial Service for Mary Louise Snyder will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Tim McGuire officiating. Family will receive friends immediately following the service in banquet facility at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.
