Ann attended Belfry High School and graduated in 1965. After some time, she relocated to Columbus, Ohio, where she found employment at Owens-Illinois Glass Company. Following her time there, and around 1983, she started attending the Wesleyan Holiness Chapel in Columbus, Ohio. It was during this time that she gave her heart and life to Jesus Christ. She enrolled her children in the Wesleyan Christian Academy and worked there as a teacher's aide and custodian to help pay their way through school. Her life quickly became centered around living for God, ministering to others. She was very selfless and sacrificial, and the love that she showed was unconditional. Ann's circle of friends was quite large as she touched countless lives through her kindness. She will be greatly missed by all.

In particular, Ann loved staying in touch with her friends. She also enjoyed music and singing, attending camp meetings, her trips to the lake with her daughter Amy, spending time with her family, and especially loved being a Mamaw to her grandkids.

Through the years, Ann was a member of Wesleyan Holiness Chapel in Columbus, Ohio, and later, Calvary Holiness Church also in Columbus. She attended the Bible Holiness Church near the end of her life.
