Martha E. Corbin, age 79, of Wharton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 9:25pm at the Emergency Room of Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

Martha was born on May 5, 1935 in Kenton, Ohio to Myron and Mildred (Waugh) Beidelschies, both of whom are deceased. She married Max J. Corbin on November 21, 1954 at the Wharton Church of God and he survives.

Surviving are 2 children, Carol Corbin and John (Stacy) Corbin, both of Wharton, and 3 grandchildren, Maximilian Corbin, John William Corbin and Camille Corbin. A sister Jane (Arden) Mittermaier of Upper Sandusky, and a sister in law, Maxine Eatherton of Columbia City, Indiana.

Martha was a homemaker and also worked with her husband on the family farm..

She was a lifelong member of the Wharton First Church of God, and member of the WCSC with the church.

For hobbies Martha enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, cooking for her family and for those helping on the farm. She also enjoyed vacationing with her family in Detour and Benzonia, Michigan and White Fish Falls, Canada, or just spending time together as a family at home, especially family get-togethers.


Funeral services for Martha E. Corbin will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Pastor David Odegard officiating. Burial will follow at Wharton-Richland-Union Cemetery.

Visitations will be held 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home
In Upper Sandusky.
