Markie Lynn Collet

Markie Lynn Collet, age 47, of McCutchenville, Ohio, passed away in Toledo, Ohio.

Markie was born in Upper Sandusky, on September 13, 1976, to Chris and Sandra (Barth) Payne.

Markie is survived by her 3 daughters; Jaycee (Trent Smith) Collet of McCutchenville, Kaylee (Luka) Kaulitz of Marion, Cadance Collet of McCutchenville, 3 grandchildren: Emilia and Atticus Kaulitz, and Isabella Smith.

Markie is also survived by her father, Chris Payne of McCutchenville, sister Amanda (Lloyd) Smith of Texas, grandmother Bernice Payne of Upper Sandusky, aunts Kim Barth and Nancy Alspach both of Upper Sandusky, uncles Steve Payne of Sycamore, and Ron Payne of Fremont.

Markie was preceded in death by her mother Sandra Payne, grandparents; Russell and Edna Barth, and Wesley Payne, and her aunt Debra Payne.

Markie graduated from Mohawk High School in 1995. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, especially her trips to North Carolina, and she was an avid OSU fan. She loved spending time with her family, going to her daughters sporting events, and especially their twirling. She loved helping others, and she loved everyone as if they were her own family.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at the Eagles Lodge 2184 in Upper Sandusky.
