Mark L. Griswold

Mark L. Griswold, age 66, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 6:25am at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Mark was born on December 15, 1954 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, to Edward and Mary Alice (Lucas) Griswold-Robey, both of whom are deceased.  He was married to Karen S. Leathem, and she survives.

He is also survived by 2 daughters, Aleasha (Brian) Himes of Dublin, Ohio, and Crystal (William) Fernatt of Harpster. 2 grandchildren, Logan and Robert Fernatt, along with 2 brothers, Tom and Alan Griswold, both of Upper Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, William "Bill" Griswold.

Mark was a 1973 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School and went on to attend Tri-Rivers in Marion.  He worked for 26 years as a LPN for Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky.

He was a member of the Amvets #777 in Upper Sandusky.

Mark enjoyed playing cards, following the Browns and Buckeyes, tinkering around his barn, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mark Griswold will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with Pastor Steve Sturgeon officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitations will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home. Family suggests that casual attire for the services.

In lieu of flowers because of a flower allergy, the family suggests that memorials be given to the Oncology Department of Wyandot Memorial Hosptial or Hospice of Wyandot Memorial, and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio, 43351.
