Marilyn A. Taylor, 84, of Fort Wayne, Indiana and formerly of Nevada, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Parkview Memorial Hospital, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Marilyn was born on August 21, 1931 in Nevada, Ohio to Raymond and Maude (Chance) McLaughlin, both of whom are deceased. She married Judson Taylor II on May 2, 1953 and he passed away on July 20, 1979.
Surviving are her children, Kent (Tammy) Taylor of Fort Wayne, Linda Miller of Fort Wayne, and Judson Taylor, III of Suttons Bay, Michigan along with 3 grandchildren, Alexander, Austin, and Mary Grace.
Marilyn worked as a mail clerk with the U.S. Postal Service for 23 years. She was a past member of Shoaff Park Baptist Church, and also a member of the Red Hat Society, and a 1949 graduate of Nevada High School.
She was an avid bowler, and was very active at the local community center.
Funeral services for Marilyn A. Taylor will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 3, 2016 at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne with calling 1hr prior.
Visitations will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 at the funeral home in Ft. Wayne.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, April 5, at Nevada Cemetery in Nevada, Ohio, with the family receiving friends from 11:00am to 12:30pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Nevada.
