Maria G. Shearer, age 83, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday
January 6, 2015 at 7:41pm in The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
Maria was born on January 12, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas to Guadalupe and Dolores (Guzman) Robles, both of whom are deceased. She married Carlos R. Shearer on June 30, 1962 in Kansas City and he passed away on April 11, 2007.
She is survived by 2 children, Kathryn L. (Timothy) Swartz of Harpster, Ohio, and Jeffrey A. (Carolyn) Shearer of Clayton, North Carolina.
Maria was a homemaker and lived for the Lord, husband and her children. She enjoyed reading the bible and books of faith, flower and vegetable gardening, and feeding the birds.
A public visitation for Maria G. Shearer will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
Funeral services on Monday will be private.
